Cold Plunge

OH MY GOD THATS COLD!!!!!

Cold plunges involve immersing the body in cold water, usually between 50-59°F,for a brief time. This practice has become popular for its health benefits and supporters believe cold plunges can help recovery after exercise, decrease muscle soreness, and improve blood circulation.
Studies show that cold water can increase heart rate and adrenaline levels, providing a temporary boost in energy and alertness. Cold plunges may also enhance immune function and release endorphins, which can improve mood.

I have tried adding the cold plunge as part of my wellness routine, starting with short durations and gradually increase as I got more comfortable. I’m not gonna lie its pretty uncomfortable and my first time I barely lasted one minute. With each try I lasted a bit longer and focused on breathing through the discomfort. I found it invigorating and there is a certain amount of gratification in staying in the water for a set amount of time. I think with consistent use the benefits are great and a really good addition to most peoples wellness routines.
