The best of February 2025
Okay so unlike January which lasted like 6 months, February has just blown by. Valentines Day and puppy snuggles and lots of sourdough baking. The weather has been mild with very little snow in Denver, but the minute you head into the mountains it is a beautiful tundra of snow.
Best of February 2025
Stitch and Rocco have been up to their usual snoring and snuggling on the couch
Took my sourdough to a whole new place……with sourdough pizza crust. It actually does contain active yeast, but is so quick and easy and made perfect pizza crust.
We’ve had perfect grilling weather, so i’ve been doing flank steaks on the grill…..on repeat. I like to cook it to have protein on hand and put it on salads, with eggs for breakfast, with cottage cheese for lunch. I find it to be a great alternative to chicken when I get tired of that. I make a horsey sauce with horseradish and plain greek yogurt and a tiny bit of mayo, salt and pepper- yum!
…..and whats flank steak without some sourdough rosemary sea salt focaccia lol
Big highlight of February was a trip to the mountains with friends. Winter Park is beautiful and we managed to kind of get snowed in with a big storm. Lots of fun memories and the downtime and break from routine was great.
My little Carlton girls in Winter Park.
Next I finally gave in and bought the book that everyone is talking about. I am a big fan of Mel Robbins so I hope it lives up to all the hype. I just started it so I’ll be back with my review later!
Lastly, giving the Omnilux Contour Red Light face mask a try. Red light face masks are gaining popularity in skincare and wellness. These devices use red light to penetrate the skin and offer various benefits.
The main purpose of red light therapy is to boost energy in skin cells, which can help increase collagen and improve skin elasticity. Users often notice fewer signs of aging, like fine lines and wrinkles, along with better skin tone and texture.
Red light therapy may also reduce inflammation and aid in wound healing, making it useful for acne and other skin issues. It is non-invasive, painless, and usually requires regular sessions for the best results.
I hope you all have had a great month….onto my favorite of the 12…….MARCH!!!!
