The best of March 2025
I can’t believe we are already in the last week of March. It’s obviously my favorite month because it’s my birthday month, but on top of that I feel like it’s always the first little taste of spring. Before moving to Denver we almost never saw sunshine in the winter months ( thanks CNY ) but even in Denver March is when the sun starts to appear more and temperatures are milder.
This March brought a lot of super awesome times and has me excited for Spring….
Best of March 2025
My birthday celebration with my kids and my birthday flowers are still hanging in there 3 weeks later which is crazy
My oldest and dearest best friend came to visit me from NY and brought her “ future DIL”. I got to play tourist and re-see some Colorado sights that I love in a different season like Red Rocks, Eldorado Canyon, The Flat Irons in Boulder, Flagstaff Mountain Lookout, quick trip through Golden. Mostly a lot of visiting, talking, laughing… and of course snacking! It was an amazing long weekend that filled my cup for months!!
My favorite product this month is definitely Uni 24 hour body serum. I was gifted this lotion from my girl Josephine because she doesn’t like the smell- low and behold I absolutely love it. Denver is very dry and using this after showering has been a game changer this month- No greasy feel, and very hydrating definitely going to have to reorder .
My food I have on repeat this month is shredded buffalo chicken in the crockpot. It’s just so simple and there are so many things I can do with it. Just having protein ready at all times is so helpful for me- I can put it on a salad, in a quesadilla, I even love it just hot in a bowl. And anytime the kids come by they devour it… so that’s a win!
Super simple too….. just throw chicken breast, wing sauce, and a packet of ranch in the crockpot for a few hours, then shred with a fork!
Also on a strawberries and cream protein oats kick rn and it’s just giving me summer feels!
My boy Coop is back on the lacrosse field at University of Colorado at Boulder and killing it, and its always a joy to watch him play. The youngest of four we’ve seen lots of lacrosse games, but trying to really soak it up before it ends.
Hands down the highlight of my month was following along as some of my clan competed in Hyrox Houston. I participated in a practice sim with my daughter a couple months ago just for fun, so I know it was a big challenge and takes an incredible amount of tenacity. Not only did they do it, but they all did very well. Super inspired and proud proud proud to be ya’lls mama! Hats off to you Owen, Kelly, Liv, and Noah!
I hope you all are having a great March and are getting ready for Spring!
