Costa Rica
Re-entry is really hard after any vacation, but especially travelling to Costa Rica with my Syracuse Yoga tribe. This trip was the perfect blend of yoga practice, adventure, and R & R!! We stayed at Vida Asana School of Yoga and retreat Center. I am always amazed at how a change of scenery and removing yourself from your normal daily routine, you can let go and just absorb your surroundings. While I was there I became a full blown “native” for a week. Eating nourishing food and focusing on the positive energy of all the retreat participants. Yoga a couple times a day along with cold plunging, bike riding, hiking, jumping out of a plane haha! As much as this was a vacation in every sense of the word, I was there to do some work. Mindset work that is. Being present can actually take a lot of effort sometimes and I needed to leave stress and worries behind and just be there. For me that actually meant forgoing some of the excursions and allowing myself to sit in some deep emotions I was experiencing and wallow in the gratitude I had for being in a beautiful place surrounded by beautiful humans.
literally on a river in the jungle……the beauty is astounding!
I jumped out of a plane above Manuel Antonio and it was one of the most freeing and exhilarating experiences to date!
